He has proven that even in the hardest times, one can bring hope to oneself and others.
The founder of the association is far too kind to be summarized in just a short biography.
In 2010, with great determination, he founded the Katib Cultural and Sports Association — a home for hundreds of migrants and refugees in Vienna.
Whether in family and asylum counseling, providing help in finding housing and work, or organizing cultural and sports programs, Nader Nazari has always been one step ahead of difficulties and two hands more open than expected.

Nader Nazari: A man of perseverance and a pillar for the Afghan community.
Born in 1977 in Jaghori District, Ghazni Province, Nader’s life has been full of challenges yet filled with hope and dedication to serving others.
From a young age, he was passionate about both learning and business — running small trade in vehicles and motorcycles while continuing his education.
He married at the age of 15 and is now a proud father of four.
In 1986, he moved to Pakistan for business, but political conditions forced him to leave in 1997. His difficult journey through Pakistan, Iran, Turkey, Greece, Italy, and finally Austria in 2000 changed his life forever.
Upon arrival, he applied for asylum. However, due to an unfair decision by an immigration officer, his case remained pending for seven years — resulting in nine painful years separated from his family.
Despite all of this, Nader never gave up. Through perseverance and hard work, he earned official recognition for his professional and business achievements.
In 2010, he founded the Katib Cultural and Sports Association — an institution that continues to serve as a cultural and social home for Afghan migrants and refugees.
Through his kindness, strength, and leadership, Nader Nazari has become a symbol of hope, courage, and unity for Afghans in Austria.
